Jakarta Education Dept. has involved the internet service provider Telkom to double the bandwidth during online student acceptance (PPDB) that will open on Monday (6/5).

"We've cooperated with Telkom to double bandwidth which aims to anticipate server down. We hope student acceptance this year could run smoothly than previous years," said Sopan Adriyanto, Head of Jakarta Education Dept., Saturday (6/3).

To help people who have difficulties in online registration, his party intends to set up joint post in the Education Dept. Office, Jalan Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta. Its implementation will start on Monday (6/5) for elementary school with a deadline of three days.

"Then we continue to junior high school, senior high school until vocational school on the next day," he expressed.

He added, it can be accessed via website at jakarta.siap-ppdb.com. This time, it is divided into five percent for achievement track, five percent for outside Jakarta, 45 percent for local and 45 percent for public.
